Life Lessons from Sammy the Snapping Turtle is a book that combines a true story of the Author when he was a child and stories that he made up to tell his four boys at bedtime.

The first chapter about "Family" really happened to the Author, his Father and his Brother. It was so unique that it stuck with the Author for 25 years until he started telling it to his boys to help them go to sleep.

The Authors Mother, Sally Robinson was also a story teller and she would make up tales on the spur of the moment to tell her children at bedtime. The Author also has this ability and chapters 2,3 and 4 about Friends, New Friends and Adventures were adlib stories that he would tell his young boys night after night when they were young.

One day the Author decided to memorialize these stories and that is when Life Lessons from Sammy the Snapping Turtle was born.
