Life Shouldn't Look Like This: Dealing With Disappointment in the Light of Faith

Disappointment spoils the life of many people who feel that their life has not turned out the way they planned. Popular author, broadcaster, and counselor Greg Popcak helps us deal with unfulfilled expectations -- the dreams we failed to achieve. He encourages us to see that some of our longings are neither realistic nor best for us; to discover how God may bring good out of our disappointments; and to renew our trust in God and hope for the future.

Greg Popcak is a nationally recognized psychotherapist, speaker, and author of five books on marriage and family issues. As founder and director of the Pastoral Solutions Institute, he provides a nationwide telephone counseling service to help Christians apply their faith to tough marriage, family, and personal problems. Greg has been published widely in professional and lay journals, and often appears on EWTN cable network. Greg and his wife, Lisa, live in Steubenville, Ohio.
