Interior clean, some headers on the top edge trimmed during the binding with partial loss. Includes 3-page Table of Contents. Illustrated throughout, including many double-page after C. D. Gibson, some by A. B. Wenzell and F. G. Attwood, many illustrated advertisements. One double-page by Wenzell missing right half; short tear in lower margin of one by Gibson, partial tear in a text page. We have not examined every page but have gone through several times, enough to call the overall interior condition very good. Life magazine offers a glimpse back into mostly urban 1890 America, its manners, dress, social mores, daily activities, humor.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
