About the Author

Rip Gerber is a biochemical engineer, technologist, and author. He has taken three technology companies public (including one Bloomberg named 'IPO of the Year'), patented several new technologies, built award-winning products and assembled talented global teams. He started his career at the Central Intelligence Agency, and holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Virginia. He lives in San Francisco, California.
