Life-Minded, the Bible Study: Intentional Practices for Belonging to God and Each Other

Church is the place for meaningful connection—a community that worships, prays, and participates together. And yet unity in the church can be fragile. We want to serve each other well, but sometimes we become divided over cultural issues or trivial things.

If we want to love God and others well, this 9-session group study with video access through QR codes reminds us to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3). The lessons focus on Jesus’s interactions with people in Scripture, modeling how Christians can love and care for one another.

For those of us who want to be peacemakers in the cultural divides or bring restoration in our relationships with other believers, the intentional practices in this study help guide the way.

Life-Minded, The Bible Study: Intentional Practices for Belonging to God and Each Other complements Brady Boyd’s Life-Minded book, which focuses on staying unified within a spiritual family. Both books are essential for churches and their leaders who want to spur on others to peaceable Christian unity.

Brady Boyd serves as senior pastor of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, and he cohosts The Essential Church podcast, which features conversations with pastors and leaders about important issues facing the church. The author of several books, including Addicted to Busy, Boyd passionately writes and teaches on the subject of following Jesus.
