Three volume set. 3/4" leather over cloth boards. Marbled endpapers. V1: 417 pages; frontis, 6 plates, and 1 foldout map. V2: 423 pages; frontis, 3 plates. V3: 453 pages; 3 plates, 1 foldout facsimile document. Leather worn at corners and spine extremities. Some surface wear, rubbed surface soil. V1 is missing the top ~1" of the backstrip, and rest of the backstrip is split along the front hinge (held in place by the rear hinge). Cracks along portions of the spine hinge on V2 & V3. Front board of V1 Held by cords; front boards of V2 & V3 wobbly. Gilt missing from the embossed title box on the spines of V1 & V3. Leather somewhat dry. Page edges age-darkened. Some soil/darkening to top edge gilt. Else pages clean. Some foxing in the margins of the plates and on the foldouts; else mostly free of foxing. This is a fairly heavy set; Priority and/or International may require shipping over and above standard costs. ; 6-1/2" x 4-1/4".
