This study guides you through Scripture to show you how your Father God longs to bring you through the suffering to victory in Jesus-victory by coming through each storm with a stronger faith in Him and a deeper relationship with Him.

Women will discover indisputable truths that remain unchanged by their difficult situations, allowing then to resolve anger and bitterness. They will be encouraged to find strength in Scripture, challenged to seek God's purpose and perspective in a time of suffering to draw close to Him for strength for healing

Life Principles for the Storms of Life is an eight-week Following God Bible study that leads women through dark days using the analogy of a storm: preparing as the clouds gather, walking through the intense storm, and picking up the pieces after the crisis has passed. readers will apply  God's Word to their difficult situations, allow them to resolve anger and bitterness. Finally, they will be encouraged to find strength in Scripture, challenged to seek God's purpose and perspective in a time to suffering, and inspired to draw close to Him for strength and healing.

SHERRY CARTER's  first Bible study manuscript, Storms of Life, won the 2007 Award of Excellence at the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writer's Conference. Sherry lives in Baytown, Texas, with her husband, Charles. Now that her two daughters are grown, she enjoys time with her adopted greyhounds. As part of a military family, she experienced first-hand several world cultures. Sherry began her career at M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital and later became an engineer at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. During her last few years at Johnson Space Center she experienced a series of agonizing crises. including the loss of the space shuttle Columbia and its crew and the deaths of her mother and father-in-law, After being laid off from SJC in 2006, God led her to write Storms of Faith, allowing her to share the lessons He taught her as He brought her anger and confusion to a deeper faith in Him. She combines this life experience with 30 years as a Bible study teacher to bring depth to her writing. She lives in Baytown, Texas, with her husband and an adopted greyhound.
