Third Edition. 4 volumes. 8vo. Pp xxxii, 452; 490; 475; 514. Engraved frontis to volume 1, folding facsimiles to volumes 3 and 4. Full calf, morocco title labels, stamped gilt to spines. Boards, edges and spines heavily worn and soiled, lacking four of the eight title labels. Corners bruised and hinges cracked, though all holding securely. Internally there is tanning and occasional light staining to pages but largely clean and sound. There is a newspaper cutting pasted to the front paste-down endpaper of volume 1.
