About this Item

This hardcover book set was published in 1821. It is in Poor condition. Please see the pictures. All but 1 of the 7 boards present are separated from the text blocks. 3 are missing. Each volume has the name of the same owner written in ink on the first page. There are no endpapers and no dust jackets. 3 have bookplates. The pages are clean, without any underlining or notes. (See pictures.) The books come from a smoke free home. I will ship them with Media Mail through the US Post Office within 2 business days, usually sooner.

I am a retired teacher surrounding myself with books. After 33 years teaching young children to read and helping them discover the joy and pleasure a book holds, I am now working on sharing that joy with adults. All my books are stored in my smoke free home. I am able to fill orders and ship them within 2 days, usually sooner. I ship with Media Mail through the US Post Office. I can ship with Priority Mail at an increased rate if there is a need. I am happy to combine shipping of multiple books at a reduced rate. I make every attempt to describe and rate the condition of my books accurately. I try to supply photographs of my books that will help buyers determine their condition. Standard shipping rate of $4.49 to all US addresses for one book up to 3 pounds. Heavier items will be calculated based on weight and location. All books or magazine are shipped using either Media Mail or Bound Printed Material through the US Post Office. All packages are shipped within 2 days, usually sooner. If there is a need for a rapid shipment, contact me for Priority Mail shipping.
Most books are wrapped in protective layers and padded envelopes. Books of a greater value or heavier weight are carefully packaged in a cardboard box. Any book can be sent in a Priority Mail box at an increased shipping cost. Magazines and some soft cover books are shipped with a cardboard insert to discourage folding.
Returns are always accepted following the AbeBooks policies. Contact me before checkout for a quote on reduced shipping rates for multiple books.
