The Second Canadian Edition of Santrock's Life-Span Development text meets the needs of Canadian students and instructors with its thorough incorporation of Canadian research and Canadian developmental contexts. Students benefit from balanced coverage of all stages of the life-span, Santrock's trademark accessible writing style, and strong coverage of cultural diversity and the Canadian mosaic.
A built-in pedagogical system encourages students to preview and review key concepts as they read. Chapter opening vignettes, new Spotlight boxes on Research and Policy, Sociocultural Worlds of Development boxes, and Critical Thinking boxes reinforce and enhance the text's emphasis on both theory and practice in the field of life-span development.
