General wear, chipped and rubbed at edges, bumped, endpapers are lightly soiled and have been replaced at some time, bookplate of previous owner at front pastedown. B&w plates, most with tissue guards, but some without. Offsets caused by the plates. Some spotting. Interior very good, clear and bright. A handsome volume. Pictures available on request. This volume begins with Pope Gregory XV - 1621.
