This book looks at the memories of Robin and Jim Gildersleeve during the period 2003-2016 — those memories they have chosen to remember. It is a continuation of their story begun in the book they wrote in 2010: “The Life and Times of Two Old Codgers, A Recounting of Memories Not Yet Forgotten”. It picks up following their move from Montclair, Virginia, and covers their days in Durham, North Carolina. The years after this period, and those years skipped, will be covered in future volumes in this series. Robin and Jim recall those years with great satisfaction. After all, these tales have survived their advancing years and their failing memories, and they'd like to think they are worth retelling.
