A limited pirated edition of Volume II of Frank Harris' explicit and banned memoir. Volume Two of Frank Harris' memoir, 'My Life and Loves', an autobiography published across four volumes.This is a pirated edition, released as Limited Edition released in the same year as the first, 1,000 copies printed, this one being number 895.As the work was widely banned, a number of pirated editions were produced. True first editions are signed by the author, and state 'I Sign this copy with my own hand', and were illustrated.The book gives a graphic account of Harris's sexual adventures, relating gossip about the sexual activities of celebrities of his day. Consequently, the work was banned in both the United States and Britain for forty years, first becoming available in America in 1963. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. A little rubbed, mostly to the spine and extremities, resulting in a small amount of loss of paper to the extremities. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little age-toned. Rear hinge is tender. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Good.
