Synopsis

This book examines the crucial questions associated with the Life's Purpose, including Who are we? What are we here for? What is likely to happen to us when we die? And how should we lead our lives?

It examines these questions by putting forth a plausible Hypothesis relating to the importance of Spirituality in our life, which Hypothesis is based on Reason and Logic; and then examines the veracity of such a Hypothesis against evident historical facts. It then goes on to compare this against Revelation drawn from various Sacred Scriptures; and finally "sense checks" all this against the evident philosophy of Jesus Christ as demonstrated in the Gospel of Thomas and other Biblical sources.

It provides solace and purpose to the downtrodden and to people who may be sceptical about the Goodness of Life. Its key theme of the importance of Spirituality in our lives should be concerning to people who believe that happiness and physical wealth, without deference to Faith and Philosophy, are what we ought to be primary focussed on.

About the Author

The author expresses no pre-existing skills or qualifications as an author, philosopher or religious expert. The impetus for this book comes from some personal experiences the author has had and which he explains in the Preface to the book. The front and back cover of the book depicts a photo of a burning white cross the author saw coinciding with what he believes to be a clear mandate from higher sources to write the book. Apart from a clear sense that this book was 'guided' by a higher force, the author professes no Philosophic or Religious qualifications.
