Pound, Ph.D., of South Carolina, taught high school English for more than 30 years. She and her husband, Terry, have four children and twelve grandchildren. They live in the country on a place they call Dogwood Hill, where she enjoys writing books and raising daylilies, peacocks and a few chickens.
