Light Before the Sun (Paperback)

Praise for Sr. Sharon Hunter: “These poems hear your broken heart and help you name your unshed tears.” ―Ronald Rolheiser, author of The Holy Longing

Light Before the Sun offers heartfelt meditations of faith and self-discovery that shine prisms of light onto life’s most heart-wrenching experiences. Sister Sharon Hunter shares her journey from brokenness and loss to freedom and wholeness, not through didactic writings, “how to” or even memoir, but through the lens of her creative practice―poetry. Sr. Sharon vulnerably shares her journey of suffering and redemption, offering the real possibility of hope―a glimmer of light before the sun―through God’s healing love and the practice of creativity.

Ideal for poetry lovers, spiritual seekers, and those struggling to resolve childhood wounds and painful losses, this book offers solace and revelation.
