Plumb coloured soft leather binding in Good condition. Spine highly decorated in gilt with top page edges also gilt. To the front boards is a gilt eliphant's head motif in a roundel. Also to the front boards is the school crest of Marlborough College founded 1843. This is a school prize book with a plate to the front end papers showing that it was presented to J D Richards, Lent Term 1940. The boards are rubbed and there is slight cracking to inside the front boards. 289 Pages. Ribbon page marker present but loose.
