The Light Looks Another Way is a three-part collection of poems that chronicles the thoughts, emotions, and observations of a nameless, shape-shifting fictional character. A wandering soul from a shattered universe, he sets sail through space and time to find meaning in the outer limits of darkness. His travels have brought him to Earth where his human form allows for an experience that is truly alien. Is there light within human existence or does the light look another way?
David Jonathan Newman made his mark on the literary world with the 2002 release of Pure Luck & Good Fury. He is a 1998 graduate of the UCONN School of Pharmacy and is known to many as a mild-mannered pharmacist. When called into action, his superhero powers champion the cause of the literate.
