About the Author

Michael Fitzgibbons is a 59 year-old teacher and counselor who lives and works in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He has a B.A. in English from Chicago State University, and Masters Degrees from Northeastern University and Loyola University Chicago. He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with an office in Mundelein. He is in his 40th year on the faculty of Carmel High School in Mundelein, Illinois, where he lives with his wife, Mary. They have three grown children. He has written and published a novel, written, directed and starred in a film that played at the New York International Film Festival, and does motivational speaking and team building. He has coached various sports at the high school level for more than 30 years, and was recently inducted into the East Suburban Catholic Hall of Fame.
