Light Up a Spark

Light Up a Spark is the story of Corey Woo-Baker's turning point: the moment he chose to rise from some very difficult circumstances. After years of instability and a near-fatal period of overmedication, Corey walked away from the life that was breaking him and sought real help. He fought for his sobriety, rebuilt his health, and rediscovered his passions. Now more than three years sober, he lives with a renewed sense of purpose and the steady strength his Chinese Hakka ancestors carried for centuries.

Today, Corey stands at the threshold of possibility: he hopes to start a family, build a business, continue his education, and one day be involved in politics. Light Up a Spark is a testament to resilience, renewal, and American grit. Corey's journey proves that even after the darkest chapters, a life can be rebuilt, a future can be claimed, and a single spark can light the way forward.
