About the Author

Qigong Teacher Michael Lomax, Dipl. ABT (NCCAOM) has over 25 years of direct clinical experience with Chinese Medical Therapeutics and is internationally recognized for his work in Medical Qigong and Asian Bodywork Therapy. With a unique background as an electrical engineer specializing in electromagnetic field theory, Michael completed a 12 year apprenticeship in Chinese Taoist Medicine with Master of Taoist Healing Osteopathic Physician Dr. Vicent Graef, D.O. Michael studied Medical Qigong in China at the Baoding Qigong Healing Hospital with Master Wang Juemin who was recognized as a National Treasure by the Chinese government. Michael has been endorsed by Master Wang to teach Qigong and Medical Qigong in the USA. Michael has also studied advanced Qigong Healing / Clinical Qigong with Teacher Wang Juemin and Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture with Teacher Liu Chunn Sheng in China. Michael is National Board Certified in Asian Bodywork Therapy by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Michael is a certified level IV (senior) teacher and medical qigong practitioner level member of the National Qigong Association (NQA) and helped develop the NQAs clinical qigong and teacher certification standards. Michael has developed a Certification Program in Medical Qigong and owns and operates QigongAmerica. Michael is author of the book A Light Warrior's Guide To High Level Energy Healing: Medical Qigong & A Shamans Healing Vision ISBN 0-9674742-5-6 and the new Qigong Movement video Gift of the Tao: ISBN 0-9674742-5-5 . Michael is writing a new book and plans on releasing this new book in 4th quarter 2008 - 1st quarter 2009.
