The Lighthouse Migration

Seventeen-year-old Corin Fenwick has spent her entire life tending to Blackglass, the sentient lighthouse that guides ships through treacherous coastal waters. Her family are Keepers: bound by tradition, magic, and the covenant between lighthouse and light-keeper. But lighthouses don't stay in one place forever. On the night they migrate, when Blackglass and every lighthouse on the coast grow legs and walk into the sea, Corin's world fractures.

Desperate to understand what's happening, Corin follows her lighthouse into the depths and discovers Glim: a young Lanternback, luminous and terrified, bonded to Blackglass but vulnerable without it. Together, they surface on impossible tides alongside cartographer Briony Calder—only to find themselves hunted by Briony's mother, Commander Sigrid, who wants to control the Lanternbacks and harvest their gifts for her own ends.

In a world where memory itself is currency and magic flows from freely-offered sacrifice, Corin must decide what she's willing to give up. Control is an illusion. Direction—the choice to move toward something—is the only power that matters. But following her heart toward Briony and protecting Glim might cost her everything: her family's legacy, the very essence of who she is, and possibly the sea itself.

Perfect for readers of dark fantasy who crave found family, paranormal intrigue, slow-burn romance, and the kind of magic that demands a price.
