Lights, Action, Camera: A Parker Bell Humorous Mystery (Book 5) (A Parker Bell Cozy Mystery)

Fame looks good on Parker Bell—right up until it comes with a body count.

Parker Bell—bestselling author, cyber security consultant, and professional problem magnet—has officially hit the big time. Her reality TV show with the Lady Gatorettes (five caffeine-and-sugar-fueled University of Florida superfans) is taking the country by storm, powered by coffee, questionable decisions, and enough sticky-sweet doughnuts to qualify as a health hazard.

Then the director dies.

Followed quickly by the assistant director.

Because apparently, in Parker's world, job openings happen the hard way.

Now Parker's stepping in as director—which seems like a terrible idea considering she may or may not have had a few "creative differences" with the dearly departed. (Define "few." Define "differences." Define "mildly heated yelling involving pastries.")

Meanwhile, Lady Gatorette Flo has gone missing in the Ocala National Forest. Kidnapped by the mysterious Gator Tom? Or participating in the most over-the-top publicity stunt since reality TV discovered table flipping? No one's entirely sure. Including Parker.

As if that's not enough, three million dollars shows up on Parker's doorstep like an extremely suspicious gift basket, dragging her straight into a money laundering mess she absolutely did not RSVP to.

And then there's the Redneck Spa Treatment.

Is it relaxing? No.
Is it safe? Also no.
Is it going to happen anyway? Unfortunately, yes.

With cameras rolling, suspects multiplying, and chaos reaching nationally televised levels, Parker has to solve multiple mysteries before her show gets canceled…or she does.

Because in Po'thole, fame is fleeting, doughnuts are forever, and murder is always ready for its close-up.

A clean, laugh-out-loud cozy mystery perfect for fans of Janet Evanovich and Leslie Langtry. Book 5 in the Parker Bell series—but jump in anywhere.

What readers are saying about Sharon E. Buck’s books:

An amusing, outrageous romp! Parker Bell and the Lady Gatorettes provide a wonderful, crazy mystery. Parker is a snarky, savvy heroine and the rest of the cast of characters add more color than a tree all lit up for Christmas. Every page adds more mystery until it seems like there will never be a solution, but the ending is oh so satisfying. You definitely want to add this to your to-be-read list.
