Liminal: The Spaces Between

Not everything in life is black and white. Some things are less clearly defined. Take daydreams, seeming so real for that brief moment in time. Or the seaside: is that strip of damp sand part of the land, or of the sea?
A number of the poems in this collection deal with those liminal, undefined places where certainty never visits, the haunts of imagination, of dreams and fears, a gateway to… well, only the experiencer can know.
Not all the poems, however. There’s one that plays on the dual meanings of mull. Some are fanciful. A few speak to my own despair at the state of our world. And I do trust you like, or can at least tolerate, cats. A mixed bag.
I hope you’ll find a few poems that resonate with you, or better yet, that inspire you to take out pen and paper and write a better one.
