About the Author
George A. F. Seber, PhD, Dip. Counsel. is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. A Fellow of the New Zealand Royal Society and recipient of the Hector Medal in Science by the NZ Royal Society, he is the author or coauthor of 15 statistical books and an extensive book on counselling. His research interests have included linear and nonlinear modeling, multivariate analysis, statistical ecology, genetics, epidemiology, and adaptive sampling.
Alan J. Lee, PhD, is a Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics at the University of Auckland.His research interests include statistical modeling, semi-parametric inference, circular statistics and social statistics. Along with Dr Nicholas Fisher, he is a principal in the consultancy Valumetrics Australia.
