And the Lion Smiled at the Rabbit

The book is about managing emotions at the work place and not swinging from 'flight' to 'fight' mode. Using the age-old craft of storytelling, it weaves together modern management theory and practices with the folklore of the Panchatantra and wisdom of Indian philosophy. Every-day issues which young professionals face–ranging from difficult conversations to resolution of conflicts, find practical solutions here.

Rashmi Datt was not born with the innate ability to manage emotions. That's what makes her learning curve steep, as well as provides the impetus to speak with conviction and clarity on the subject. And it is because of this that her workshops which help executives build their emotional intelligence are much in demand.

She is a perpetual learner, and an intermittent in many things–gardener, badminton player, yoga practitioner, baker, amongst others. She has no dogs or cats.

Rashmi has a postgraduate degree in management from BITS Pilani.
