A Lion in Spring

A DEAD HERO. A BURIED SECRET. A PROFESSOR CAUGHT IN A DEADLY GAME.

From award-winning author Kenneth R. Overman comes A Lion on Spring, the first book in the Nathan Radcliff Thriller series.

Recently widowed history professor Nathan Radcliff travels to Athens to research his latest book when he uncovers the forgotten remains of a Greek war hero, Anatole Katsaros, in the attic of the National Archives. Next to the body is a dossier, one that exposes a shocking truth: Katsaros’s son, hailed as a patriot, may have been a Nazi collaborator and the mastermind of a ruthless international crime syndicate known as the Alliance.

Before Nathan can unravel the discovery, the Alliance learns of his findings and will stop at nothing to erase them. When an attempt on his life forces him into hiding with a strikingly enigmatic Greek secret service agent, their growing bond offers solace amidst the chaos. But peace is fleeting. The Alliance’s reach is vast, and soon the hunt turns personal.

Betrayed by those sworn to protect him, his daughter taken hostage, and with time running out, Nathan must summon strength he never knew he had. Exposing the truth could rewrite history, but will it cost him everything?

For fans of Dan Brown, Daniel Silva, and Robert Ludlum, this electrifying thriller weaves espionage, history, and pulse-pounding suspense against the breathtaking backdrop of Greece. Nathan Radcliff Thrillers: political thrillers for the world traveler.
