Listen Humanity

Narrated and edited by Don Stevens, Listen Humanity describes a series of meetings between Avatar Meher Baba and his followers. Part I recreates the atmosphere of these meetings, immersing the reader in the balance of humor and pathos, activity and quiet that was achieved. Part II sets forth the enduring philosophies of Meher Baba. The final part is devoted to the challenges involved in the deep relationship between Master and devotee.

Don Stevens became a follower of Meher Baba in 1945 as a member of the Sufi Movement in the U.S., when its leader Murshida Martin recognized Meher Baba as a great spiritual master and asked him to be her guide as well as that of the Sufi Movement which was under her charge. Don has contributed to the editing, publishing, and translation of many books by and about Meher Baba. He has also authored several of his own.
