Literary Coffee Break: Poetry & Creative Writing

The number 100 has always represented perfection, a circle and fullness. Having 101 pieces in this book represents a completed cycle and the beginning of a new one. The 101st piece truly is the mark of a new beginning. Look around you. Don't lose an instant of your life and grieve over it. Live each moment, be proud of the ones that are gone, but keep your eyes on the prize that lies ahead on your path.

Kias Emmanuel Creech believes that poetry is the language of the soul and that we all speak the language, whether by writing or reading. Further, he feels it to be an art form and a tool for healing. Literary Coffee Break was written with the intention of connecting with readers and making this both his book as well as theirs; a piece of his heart and soul to share with friends, family, friends who have become his family, and begin spreading it to others.

Kias Emmanuel Creech lives in Mount Vernon, Kentucky, and loves the people that surround him. In his words, "No words more heartbreaking exist than those that exist without meaning."
