This reissue of Arnold Bennett's 1909 book is in Cape's "The New Library" series, a less durable series of literature than the same publisher's "Florin Books" and "Travellers' Library". This is "The New Library Number Two". The full subtitle is "How to form it, with detailed instructions for collecting a complete library of English Literature". This posthumous edition is edited, with additional Lists, by Bennett's friend, Frank Swinnerton. There is a little darkening to the lime green cloth, and slight browning to edges and endpapers, but a very good copy indeed in a very good unclipped dust jacket, a little browned, especially to spine panel, with slight edgewear.
