Cloth, P. 261pp+2pp publishers adverts, title vignette, the book is partly disbound, and at some time has been 'repaired' using cotton thread in an attempt to re-sew the gathers. The book also has a plain brown cloth recovering with a small paper title label to the upper cover. One guesses that the book was much loved & upon falling apart due to too much reading, a child or parent, attempted to rescue the book. The book now more of a charming memento than a readable book. An early edition of a popular child's history by Lady Maria Callcott [ 1785 - 1842 ] author, illustrator & traveller. 200 grams.

Eastleach Books are based at Private Premises, in the Market Town of Newbury. Originally in the Cotswolds, we have relocated to be able to stock more books. Shipping terms
For Domestic orders, shipping is based upon the total weight of the order & not per book. Shipping rates to most countries are now based upon the actual weight of the book or books, so ( all things being equal ) the price for shipping is the true cost of sending your order.
