A Little Book of Poetry (Paperback or Softback)

A Little Book of Poetry is a collection of poems that offer comfort, hope, and encouragement to both believers and those who are still searching — reminding us that God is near and that He hears us when we cry out to Him.
The book includes 26 poems, each thoughtfully paired with a Bible verse and a unique, full-color illustration.
A Little Book of Poetry is for anyone who needs a gentle reminder of God's presence and who is seeking hope in the midst of life's challenges. Kathi's desire is that this book serves as a quiet reminder of God's nearness, love, and acceptance —and of the truth that because of Jesus, we can " . . . approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:16, NIV)

Kathi Burg loves to create things — most often with words. She takes pleasure in the "small" things: quiet moments, gentle sayings, small worlds, cozy spots, creatures of all kinds, fantasy, and the extraordinary in the everyday.
She's written a book titled A Little Book of Poetry: For When Night Seems Dark. Her poetry has been published in Poems Inspired by Robert Frost and Flee to Spring — both Wingless Dreamer publications. Her flash fiction has been published by Haunted Waters Press.
She writes because she enjoys using words to touch the heart, stir the imagination, and kindle joy. She loves writing about small places and true-to-life characters. And if her writing can make someone feel joy or less alone, she'd be thankful for that.
Her hope is that something she creates offers a moment of beauty in another's day. If you'd like to keep in touch, you can visit her website and join her email list for occasional updates and news along the way. And just a note — keep an eye out for her small creations to come, like mugs and other little pieces that carry her words into everyday moments.
