The majority of the patterns were generated using a FORTRAN program that allows the reader to compute what is shown in the pictures. The enclosed disk contains the source code and accompanying data files. Readers are encouraged to experiment with the software by (a) modifying the data files to generate streamlines that originate from desired points, (b) adding additional flow selections to the nested menus, and (c) improving the accuracy of the numerical methods.
