About this Item
Tan cloth with brown lettering, flower vignette to front board. Light bump to head and heel of spine and tips of corners. Front endpaper has upper 1/3rd clipped off, presumably to remove the previous owner's name. Text is clean and bright, no marks, lightly and evenly tanned. Lovely line drawings at each chapter head. DJ shows rubbing to all edges, small chips and tears, uneven darkening. "As refreshing as spring rain, as delightful as a chat with a good friend, is Lawrence's book about the prizes in her garden, her little bulbs. Based on gardening experience in North Carolina and far-reaching correspondence with enthusiastic fellow gardeners all over the country, these pages contain a veritable treasury of information on the cultivation of little bulbs." (from the jacket). Seller Inventory # W1418
