Little Chef and Sous: and The Gingerbread Snafu

📕#4 = 🎄Gingerbread Brookie is a recipe worth sharing ~ Great for 1st-2nd grade readers!

The school is having a Winter Wonderland Play and the children are excited to be in charge of the big day. Everyone is invited & the air is filled with cheer. Children merrily volunteer to be:

❄️ Builders. ❄️ Singers ❄️ Website Designers & more

Little Chef & Sous Chef sign up to create a Christmas banquet. But, just as the play is about to start, Little Chef & Sous run into a major snafu. They forgot the star of the show! How will they remember the true gifts of the Noel?

Growing up doesn't always follow a holly-jolly recipe, so the Little Chef series is told through the eyes of a foodie. In this book, Little Chef & Sous:

🍪 Learn to re-focus so mistakes will Not control their day

🍪 Demonstrate responsibility

🍪 Discover that goodwill lasts long after that 1 night

🍪 Find resolution to a problem

“’Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house

Every creature was stirring & sifting kind of loud

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care

In hopes that the Gingerbread Brookies would soon be ready to share…”

from the Author:

Remember the amazing wholeness & warmth after reading a good book? Or pondering a favorite quote and keeping it close?

✨Children do too. They always remember that we read to them & what we read to them.✨

Many layers go into shaping fun, engaging stories that incorporate neuroscience research into the magic of reading & because I am not a big publisher, I thank you kindly for choosing to give small business a chance & read my books.

I hope to continue creating stories that transcend the page & empower children to want to read...to never stop seeking wonder & resolution. When we read with kids ~ we are doing something Spectacular!
