About the Author
Brian Morman is CEO of two successful companies operating in the financial services and asset management sectors with funds under advice of £350m. He is also a fully qualified Financial Consultant with over 35 years’ experience and regularly provides insightful industry commentary for radio and publications. He is well respected within the UK financial services industry and is recognised as a creative forward thinker and strategist. Brian has always been a fervent supporter of charity and was instrumental in setting up his company’s charitable fund-raising foundation, Heartfelt, which over the years has raised over £100,000. During his 60th birthday year he set himself six arduous challenges which allowed him, together with the support of others, to raise significant funds for a local charity to assist in the refurbishment of a hospital’s children’s oncology ward playroom. His chosen occupation of helping others make important financial decisions has brought him into contact with individuals in all walks and stations of life and this has fuelled his lifelong interest in observing people. It has also given him a greater understanding of what makes us tick, our aspirations, our worries and our fears. His is a positive message that seeks to enhance our lives on a multitude of levels and prepare us for a healthier, wealthier, purposeful, happier – and significantly – a longer, life. Brian is a motorcycling enthusiast – when time allows – and has twice ridden the whole length of US Route 66, during which time on the road he was reminded of the complete dichotomy between rich and poor, affluence and deprivation. This experience further instilled in him the need to help people improve their lives and was an important catalyst in his decision to write the book, ‘The Little Guide to Your Bigger Future.’ Brian is married with five grown up children. His other interests include golf, keeping fit, undertaking stunts for charity and walking his dogs!
