Red cloth covers with laid down title on front cover; illustrated endpapers; color frontis; 101, [1] pages; black and white illustrations throughout; 3-page Japanese to English glossary at the rear. “Ladd Addition Evangelical Church – 1945” written at top of inside cover; ink stamp from The Better Book & Bible House of Portland, Oregon at bottom of title page; light moisture stains on three pages, including the title page; some edge of page stains on pages 72-75; otherwise in VG to VG+ condition. [21-201] A tale of a young Japanese girl’s conversion to Christianity by her association with the Missionary Lady who lived in the house with many chairs, written for young people.
