One Little Leaf

Leaf grows and changes as each season is experienced. The splendor and rebirth of spring! The lush beauty and busy activities of summer! But when leaves begin to fall in fabulous, fragrant autumn, Leaf isn’t ready to go. There is still too much to do and see. Eventually, Leaf has no choice. Who could guess there would still be amazing discovery in letting go?‘… an adorable story of how the seasonal changes occur and is a lovely way to teach children how nature changes during each season. Stefanie St. Denis gives clarity to the concept with her charming and colorful illustrations, making it easy for children to understand the four seasons. I love the way the author as well as the illustrator give the little leaf its own personality and the power to reflect on the changes in nature. Just like the little leaf, children will also start becoming more observant of the seasonal changes around them after reading this book. The story is educational as well as informative and I would recommend it to tutors and parents to use for storytelling sessions. There couldn't be a better way to teach children about the seasons.’ 5 Stars. -Mamta Madhavan, Readers Favorite Book Reviews
