0 12 volume set. Includes illustrations. This is a very well done little set of nature books dealing with various animals when they are young. The animals include Lizards, Tigers, Dolphins, Penquins, Jack Rabbits, Ducklings, Bears and the Snowy Owl. These are small books, bound in a box set. The art work is very well done in a mild, understated, yet detailed way. The text of each book is informative and easy to read. These, of course, are not indepth studies of the animal subjects, but rather a nice overview. This set is a great gift idea for the child that is into nature. The books are quite attractive and quite well made. I like them and do recommend them. Very good in very good dust jacket. light shelf wear, very good in a very good slipcase, issued without dustjackets.
