Good hardcover with rubbing/wear to the extremities, foxing to the paste downs and a couple of interior pages, a previous owner's name stamped to the front paste down, and a two-inch closed tear to the first page; now protected by a custom clear acetate jacket. An undated edition, published without title page, repackaging three nursery rhymes illustrated by Leslie Brooke circa 1910, into the series, Leslie Brooke's Children's Books. Leonard Leslie Brooke (1862-1940) was a prolific British illustrator of children's books, as well as an artist and writer. Unpaginated [28 pages]; 8 color plates, printed recto only + 12 b&w illustrations + illustrated paste downs; 8 x 10.25 inches.
