Village Lights opened as a brick-and-mortar shop in 2008, with the proprietors living above the shop. A full-service general bookstore, we offered a carefully curated selection of used and new books. In 2024, we transitioned to a rare and antiquarian book shop, open by appointment on the second floor of our building. We offer a modest, but growing, eclectic selection of rare, collectible, and out-of-print books, with strength in modern firsts and signed copies. We also sell handmade letterpress books and broadsides from Larkspur Press. All items are physically in our possession and will normally ship within 48 hours, securely packaged to a very high standard to prevent damage in transit. Within the U.S., we ship USPS with insurance against loss or damage. Tracking number provided.
