About the Author
Bernadette Watts was born in Northampton, England. Her mother was a painter and her father an architect, so Bernadette was encouraged to paint and write at an early age. Her work has been influenced by turn-of-the-century illustrators such as Edmund Dulac and W. Heath Robinson and by naïve painters and folk artists.
