Little Rosa

Little Rosa

Every day, Rosa walks to the bus for a boring bus ride. But not this week! Each day she meets a new wild and crazy animal that sends her to the back of the bus just because she isn't as wild as they are. She is not amused by their behavior and the animals seem to get meaner each day.

Will she have the courage to stand up for herself in the presence of the king of all beasts? Find out and read Little Rosa!

Mr. E's picture book Little Rosa is based on the American Hero, Rosa Parks. Written to give young children a conceptual understanding of the Rosa Parks story, Little Rosa is a great introduction to concepts related to the American civil rights movement. And as a book with an African-American female protagonist, it's an important addition to any home or school library.
