Deep beneath the ground, a little seed waits and dreams of what might be waiting above.
A lyrical picture book about patience, hope, and the quiet magic of growing in your own time.

Though Little Seed has never seen the world Up Above, he dreams of what he might discover if he ever gets there. How long will he have to wait—and what magic might be waiting when the time is right?

Along the way, he meets Digger, Weaver, Rooty, and Sparkle — each one a reminder that we were never meant to grow alone.

The Little Seed’s Long Wait is a gentle, enchanting picture book that follows a small seed learning that waiting has meaning. Through calm storytelling and beautiful illustrations, it introduces young children to patience, hope, and trusting their own growth.

Perfect for:

Children ages 3–8, with meaningful takeaways for older readers
Bedtime stories and early childhood classroom read-alouds
Teaching patience, perseverance, and self-discovery
Thoughtful conversations about waiting, change, and growing

A meaningful picture book about mindfulness, emotional growth, and learning to trust your own timing.
