Condition: Fair. 1912. Cheap Edition. 377 pages. No dust jacket. Pictorial green cloth covered boards. Black and white illustrations throughout by Arthur Rackham, Kate Greenaway, Harry Furniss and others. Ex libris plate of Phyllis Davies to front pastedown. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. Prices in pencil to front endpaper, title and copyright pages. Text block edges are a little tanned and foxed with minor scratches. Boards have some edge wear, with mild bumping and subtle fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and rubbed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Large water stain and some liquid marks to rear. A few liquid droplet marks to front too. Several minor dents to board edges. Slight dust stains to spine. Boards are notably bowed.
