Live Inspired: Freeing Ourselves from the Grip of Performancism

Sometimes success doesn’t feel like it should. Many of us are surprised when we don’t experience joy in our accomplishments. Too often our outward appearance of success and achievement mask the inner turmoil of our hearts and souls. We believe working harder will solve the problem, but it just makes us more tired. Deep in our hearts we know this can’t be what Jesus meant when He promised us an abundant life. But what we don’t realize is how our self-driven natures tie us to performancism—the belief that our value comes from what we achieve.

In Live Inspired, Shirley guides you on a journey where you will identify the lies which fuel your self-driven nature. As you confront these lies with God’s truths, you will learn how to tap into the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. With His help, you will free yourself of performancism by exchanging your self-driven practices for a Spirit-led life—one that is wrapped in the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus.
