About the Author

Rosanne Sheritz Sartori has been affiliated with the St. Charles School District in St. Charles, Missouri, as a teacher and counselor for more than 25 years. She has been a mentor for new teachers and counselors and a presenter of numerous inservice workshops for teachers, parenting classes, and state counselor workshops. St. Charles School District honored her with the Impact Award in 1985, 1988, and 1993; the Journey to Excellence Award in 1993, 1996, and 1997; and nominated her for Teacher of the Year in 1993.
