Condition Very Good: Complete two-volume limited edition set in the publisher’s original bindings. Both volumes show light edgewear, with curling and rubbing to the corner tips and light bumping at the spine heads and feet. Spines display faint sunning with light staining and small nicks; gilt slightly dulled but remaining clean and fully legible. Boards show minor surface scuffs and faint staining, though remain presentable overall. Bindings square and firm across both volumes. Ex-Libris label of H. J. Bromilow affixed to the pastedown; signature of J. Muncaster Jones (dated Aug. 18 1900) present in endpapers. Internally, pages show light handling and uniform age-related toning, otherwise bright, clean and fresh throughout. A sound and well-preserved limited edition set.
