Living Against All Odds

This is my first attempt of a literary nature. I feel compelled to write of a brave and good woman, her fight with cancer, and our love story. At the age of 12, one day I went to the local swimming pool. The following day the doctor made a house call. Several days later I was diagnosed with "Polio," the scourge of that era. Through hot-pack applications and therapy I survived and went on to junior college, married, divorced and then met Louise Gordon. I married the "love of my life." Jay Gordon
