About the Author
This is my first attempt of a literary nature. I feel compelled to write of a brave and good woman, her fight with cancer, and our love story. At the age of 12, one day I went to the local swimming pool. The following day the doctor made a house call. Several days later I was diagnosed with "Polio," the scourge of that era.
